Cookie Notice

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed to make the site work. Others help me see, in general terms, how many people visit and which pages they read.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner when you first arrive, and change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. Declining is as easy as accepting, and declining does not stop you using the site.

This site has recently moved to a new platform. A full check of what the site loads is being carried out, and this notice will be replaced with a detailed list once that is complete. In the meantime, the summary below describes what the site uses.

Cookies this site sets

Squarespace, the platform this site runs on, sets its own cookies to keep the site working and to count visits. Squarespace publishes a full list of these, what they do and how long they last, at squarespace.com/cookie-policy.

Non-essential cookies are held back until you accept them using the banner.

Other services this site uses

Adobe Fonts delivers some of the typefaces on this site. It receives your IP address when a page loads.

Google reCAPTCHA protects the contact form from automated spam. It receives your IP address and information about how you interact with the form.

Both are outside the UK. My privacy policy explains how information sent outside the UK is handled.

Changing your mind

You can reopen the cookie banner at any time using the link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may stop working properly if you do.
